This miniature reproduction of the Minchiate Tarot is from a deck originally engraved circa 1862, published by Il Meneghello. The Minchiate is an 'extended' form of the tarot, consisting of 97 un-titled cards; there are a total of 41 Major Arcana (Trumps) cards instead of the 'regular' 22. There are 56 Minor Arcana, divided into 4 suits, making a total of 97 cards in the deck. Additional cards in the Major Arcana include 12 Zodiac signs, 4 virtues (Faith, Hope, Charity & Prudence) and 4 elements (Air, Fire, Earth, and Water). Package coloring may vary from photos shown.
