Maestro Osvaldo Menegazzi of Meneghello continues his homage to Japanese ukiyo-e artists with 22 impeccable paintings of the Major Arcana based on the cat figures of Edo master Utagawa Kuniyoshi. Large format cards (4 1/4" x 5 3/4" - 108mm x 145mm) with cat figures inspired by Kuniyoshi's many cat images on a watercolor background.
Menegazzi celebrates Kuniyoshi's love of cats and his influence on the French impressionists--Monet had Kuniyoshi prints in his kitchen at Giverny--
A limited, signed edition of only 250 copies.
